Lucrezia Maimone (Lupa).

(Author, choreographer, dancer)

Lucrezia is a multidisciplinary performer and creator active on the national and international contemporary scene. She trained at the Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School in Denmark, the Escuela Internacional de Circo y Teatro CAU of Granada in Spain and the Escuela Zirkozaurre of Bilbao in the Basque Country.

 

Lucrezia has been looking for an original physical language, she marries with the surrealism that finds the source of choreographic and theatrical writing in illusion art. Her scenic proposals explore the poetic possibilities of dancetheatre, acrobatics and live music.

Lucrezia is the artistic director and founder of the Oltrenotte Company, an Under35 Dance Production Organization recognized by the Italian Ministry of Culture.

Oltrenotte, based in the city of Cagliari, reflects the choreographic technique and poetics built to date by the choreographer: dance, theatrical invention, object theatre, acrobatics, live music.

Lucrezia is the artistic director of the multidisciplinary training project Anatomie Teatrali, which offers the city of Cagliari an international study in the performing arts of dance and dancetheatre.

 

Before the creation of the Oltrenotte company, from 2017 to 2020 Lucrezia Maimone was the author and dancer of the Zerogrammi company (Turin) directed by Stefano Mazzotta and worked as a dancer in the creation and film production Elegia delle Cose Perdute, as author in the works Nostos, Oltremai and Symposio del Silenzio.

From 2017 to 2020, before the creation of the Oltrenotte company, Lucrezia Maimone was the author and dancer of the ZEROGRAMMI company in Turin directed by Stefano Mazzotta and worked as a dancer in the creation and film production Elegia delle Cose Perdute, as author and choreographer in the works Nostos, Oltremai, Simposio del Silenzio.

From 2017 to 2019 Lucrezia worked in Spain as a choreographer and performer, in the INSOMNIA professional training project directed by director Anthony Mathieu; from 2016 to 2017 as permanent artist in the CAFE DE LAS ARTES TEATRO in Santander; from 2015 to 2016 with the Collettivo La Balsa he created and toured with the circus and dance show Donde mueren las olas, from 2014 to 2017 he worked with the multidisciplinary artist Sebastian Sobrado for the creation of the show Nostos presented in numerous festivals and theaters.
