October, Patron Saint, Sirens, the great
celebration of the elderly, guardian angels,
clocks going back, Silence. Days get shorter.
In the season where everything seems
to stop, six characters dare to cross the
threshold throughout a mystic night, to enter
an enormous space ready to be filled with
memories and feelings, with people and objects.
In a dusty and stale place a group of old maids
celebrates the beauty of meeting again and the
love of life.
A tragicomic frame tells the contradiction
between the heaviness of old age and the
lightness of the souls.

Giulia Cannas
Danzatrice, performer e autrice.
Sin da molto giovane conduce una ricerca sul movimento che la porta a sviluppare un
linguaggio sperimentale e personale. Il suo lavoro trova un profondo radicamento con la
terra sarda. Collabora con Donatella Martina Cabras e lìassociazione movimentopoetico ed
entra in dialogo con prestigiosi centri di formazione e produzione, come la Biennale Danza di
Venezia, Anghiari Dance Hub, Da.Re. di Adriana Borriello, il centro di produzione della
danza Fuorimargine, in Sardegna, e la compagnia Oltrenotte. Lavora come improvvisatrice
in performance in spazi convenzionali e non con musicisti contemporanei sperimentali come
Guido Tattoni e Francesco Giomi.
